Chosun University occurs as major South Korean private university. Its campus is placed around Gwangju metropolitan city, in southwestern South Korea. A todays president is Kim Joo-hoon. Around 25,000 students come enrolled.

History

Chosun University was founded by a popular organization, the Chosun College Founders' Association. A Association was formed inside Might 1946, & apace gained members throughout Chungcheong, Jeolla, and Jeju provinces. A number 1 classes of the school, so known as Kwangju Evening Academy, were held in September 29, 1946. It was renamed Chosun Academy shortly thenceforth, & became the college inside 1948. It became a university at the beginning of the 1953 school year, at which instance a grad school was too established.
